Green Stuff
« on: March 26, 2012, 07:54:01 PM »
I'm planning out a Conversion Model project and I am going to be doing some Green Stuff Sculpting for the model. I wanted to know if there are different modeling epoxies and which one people have had the best work with.

And some other questions concerning Green Stuff. When your mixing the Blue and Yellow does the amount stay proportionate like if you used 1 unit of yellow and 1 unit of blue would you get 2 unit of green stuff to work with?

Thanks for any info you guys have.

If I need the Green Stuff to set harder, I mix in a higher ratio of blue.

I meant like mass wise could have worded it better. If I put a Gram of Yellow and a Gram of Blue do I get 2 Grams of Green to work with.

Pretty sure. Like, I'm no physicist, but that seems right.

pretty sure 1+1=2
But Ben is right if when modeling you want to be able to work it with the green stuff longer then mix in more yellow if you want it to stiffen faster and be harder then more blue. It also depends on what you are trying to make with it.

If your sculpting tools are sticking to the green stuff then dip them in water.
