I might try some fire dragons; i could see armor 14 being a problem.  Though I have not played by Biel-Tan since they were in the Craftworld Eldar book(3rd ed.)

well warp hunters do have a 5" blast d cannon on it with 36" range i could change the starcannons to brightlances but i already have 3 elites is the problem what would you consider dropping.

I would consider dropping the Vectored Engines to free up points for Bright Lances.  I even think Spirit Stones may be "droppable" as well, but considering the superiority Wave Serpents have as Dedicated Transports, they may prove vitally useful.

In the second list, who/what would you put in the Falcon?  If you don't intend to start people in there, Vectored Engines could certainly be dropped there.  Putting upgrades on things as a "just in case" contingency tend to be points that could be put to better use, IMHO.

Hope that helps!

Without knowing too much about Eldar, I still think I can help by coming at this from a different angle.

These are the units you have in common between both lists.

Farseer spirit stones runes of warding doom fortune 150
10 striking scorpions exarch scorp claw stalker shadowstrike 212
10 striking scorpions exarch scorp claw stalker shadowstrike 212
10 harlequins troupe master shadowseer 10 harle kiss 266
10 dire avengers exarch pw+shimmershield bladestorm defend 177
10 dire avengers exarch pw+shimmershield bladestorm defend 177
2 waveserpents with starcannons vectored engines spirit stones 310
2 warp hunters spirit stones holo-fields 340

Bike or not, the Farseer is otherwise identical.

So let's assume the above common units are your core, and build from there. That's a total of 1844 points spent by my count.

How can the remaining 656 points help those units? Do you see any glaring holes that need to be filled?

Fire Warriors are great. And that's all I got. Need to brush up on my Eldar. :)

I like the second list better, although I'm still not a fan of the Vectored Engines on the Falcon.  If you drop that, you can put Bladestorm on both your DA squads.  That way, if you ever find yourself in a turn where they've moved in the Wave Serpents, disembark, and then shoot with Bladestorm, any unit that would assault them on the following turn would suffer from their Defend ability.  Granted that's a very specific situation where it would be useful, but still something to consider.

Herp derp...  Apparently, I can't read that well at night anymore.  :P

Um... well you can always add Runes of Witnessing to the Farseer.  And I forget if you can give the Harlequins Fusion Pistols or not.  Do you have to give up a Harle Kiss for one?

Regular Farseer: 88.9% Success, 5.6% Failure, 2.8% Perils & Success, 2.8% Perils & Failure
RoWit Farseer: 90.3% Success, 1.9% Failure, 7.8% Perils & Success, 0.04% Perils & Failure
So a Runes of Witnessing Farseer is going to be slightly more reliable in casting, but is going to
also run a higher risk of Perils. However, the Ghosthelm will mitigate this a good bit. 5th edition's
auto-wound and re-roll Inv save fun mean a regular Farseer will take a wound 1.4% normally or
0.9% with Fortune. A RoWit Farseer will take a wound 2.0% of the time, 1.3% with Fortune.

so it doesn't seem worth the points that much to me. and as for paying for the pistol then you are either wasting points and using the harlis to the extent of their best ability(close combat) or you are slowing the squad up to shot the pistol not fleeting and wasting points on not using the squad for its main purpose.
I am not against dropping vectored engines it is just i want something worth while to spend the points on.
