That's great, Adam!  I'm looking forward to this as well!  And as far as Super Heavies go, I have 2 Warhound Titans and 2 Baneblades.  In all likelihood, I will probably play the Warhounds before the Baneblades though.

And seeing that you have at least 7000 points, I think a fair starting point would be 8000.  It'll definitely be enough for me to bring both the Battle Company and 1st Company Formations, along with probably a Titan.

Talk to you soon!

Are you planing on a one on one battle or are there going to be more on each side?
Hi Dave.  This is more of a themed Apoc game that Adam and I are planning.  Adding more players is definitely possible, but depending on the game size, it's likely that it might not get finished in a single day.  Also, depending on the army you play, the theme of the game might not be as fitting fluff wise.

I'd be more than happy to oblige with another game if you're free though.  How many points do you have available?  Otherwise I think our only other option would be to keep the set amount of points we agree on, and just divide the point allotment between all the players.  And then somehow explain that another army quite possibly got involved at Black Reach.   ::)

Let me know what you think.  Thanks!

then again most of that is unassembled daemons, dark eldar, eldar in boxes still, and those silly thundersaurus-rexes  ::)
Wow...  You know, I thought you were only kidding when you mentioned how much stuff you have from each army, but I never thought you were serious...   :D

Hey Ben,

Sorry, was gone all weekend.  I'm going to have to take a look at the superheavy situation - I only have one for the orks, which was why I was originally going to try guard in an apoc game.  Might make more sense if I play them, given that they're a.) finished and b.) I can borrow some of my brother's bigger stuff if necessary.  I certainly don't have anything that can go up against a warhound, unless the Hellhammer is somehow a decent Baneblade variant suddenly.

How does fighting Guard sound against you?

Cheers,
Adam

Hey Adam,

That's perfectly fine.  I'm just glad we're getting a chance to play a game of this size.  :)
