How do they work?

What size are they when compared to their new plastic counter parts?

Can they be used on normal plastic marines without seeming like that poor marine slammed his hand in the land raider door?

They're in line with the old Terminator size. I think they're a bit small for the current plastic Terminator line.

On the other hand, they should be pretty good for plastic marines. I can't be positive of that.

Overall the metal TA are a tad bit smaller then the new plastic ones.  The arms are roughly the same and can be mixed and matched I believe.  I can bring in a couple of Metal TA with LC for you to check out if you like on Saturday when we meet up.

I'm trying to figure out how to arm my Vanguard vet squad with LCs.  Mutilating Chaos raptor aspiring champions is an extremely cost prohibitive venture.

What I've done to arm my Vanguard Vets was basically use a Terminator Assault Kit, and clip the weapons off at the wrist.  I then take a pair of Close Combat weapon arms (like the ones from the Assault Marine kit), and clip off the pistol and chainswords at their wrists, file down the rough edges, and then glue them on the wrist.

It does look a little funny, with a slightly oversized wrist and a thinner arm, but I think it does the trick pretty well.

If there PA marines then just use the SW box as it comes with PA Claws!  I might be able to help you here.

If there TA marines then I might be bale to help you here as well.

I would have to see the wolf claws in person to see how much cleaning they need.

I was thinking the metal TDA ones because they are smaller than the plastic TDA ones and the plastic TDA ones are just a bit too big for PAs.

I don't think the old metal claws look that bad on PA marines. My brother did it a couple of years ago for a BA librarian with a jump pack. They look a little bulkier in the shoulder pads but other wise they look like there ready to wreck someone.

Best bet is to get 1 of each and see which one you like

They are in the *AWESOME* place.

They will be used in boarding actions and where close combat is a certainty.  I am also trying to squeeze in as many lightning claws as possible since I am unable to pick up on the more subtle traits of the Carcharodons.
