hey people yes im new to magic...ive been thinking about making a new deck...im still learning how to make a good deck on my own...im trying to keep this standard...this is what i got in mind let me know if any of you have any ideas on how to up this deck ...oh BTW its gonna be a blue/black cancel/kill

It looks like a pretty good start.  I'd probably pick up 4x Mana Leak and replace some of the more clunky counter spells with those.

I'd also probably cut a couple clones and add in a bigger killy creature of your own, but I guess if you're looking to keep costs down you're fine.

There's a bunch of cards you could toy around with in the 2-20 dollar range, but that adds up quick.

Hey chase how about a platinum angel as another big creature? I already have one of those...also I could counter burns and what not with my counts... go or no go?

Ah ha... I picked up an intro deck just to see what I could get and I picked up a Stormtide Leviathan which I could use... I mean ya its 8 to bring in buts its an 8/8 with a kick ass ability... beside all of my creatures accept for the gatekeeper has flying...lemme kno what you think : )
