I apologize...

...for looking like and idiot due to my primary distributor.

ACD has, for the second week in a row, failed to send me some of the basic units a few of you have asked for.  Sometimes they tell us they don't have a model in stock when I ask for it (ex. Rich's Squire) but sometimes they don't (ex. everything else Rich has asked for and Troy's Warmonger).

I find out that the model was not shipped the day it arrives at the store and never before unless they do tell me it's out of stock at the time of the phone call.

Tomorrow I will be placing my weekly order with ACD and making sure that if they do not have each model requested that Alliance gets asked to fill it instead.

This is incredibly frustrating to me as I'm sure it is to you.

ACD failed me for the 3rd week in a row on every item that was specifically requested.  I should hear how things went on the Alliance front tomorrow if all goes according to plan.

Alliance was also out of every item ACD was out of.  Sorry guys.

It's actually because the game is so crappy, PP had to sell all their molds to feed their kids.   ;)

I received a few more details on the situation today.

Apparently, Privateer Press is trying to keep zero to extremely low quantities of their metal miniatures on their warehouse shelves. For the most part, they are pouring molds as the figures are ordered. Distributors, in turn, are frustrated because they are unwilling to take on the burden of deeply stocking their shelves with orders of metal miniatures that are potentially decreasing in favor of the new plastics. Basically, we have a situation where no one wants to risk overstock that goes all the way from the manufacturer to the retailer. As a result, everyone suffers.

Personally, I feel like the solution rests with Privateer Press. Hopefully they will loosen up a bit and stop riding so close to the line. ACD told me today that wait for restocks could be as long as 8-10 weeks.

Then again, maybe PP has plans that none of us know about yet. In the meantime we'll keep everyone posted and do our best to fill orders as fast as we can. Thanks for being so patient and for helping to support us! It is HUGELY appreciated!

PP's logic is pretty awful.

Eh, I'm used to it, I play 40k.

Just means we have no excuse to not paint before we get new stuff.   ;)
