getting into warmachine
« on: September 06, 2010, 05:36:53 PM »
Hi all,

I am trying to get into Warmachine, and was hoping someone would play an "intro" game with me.  I have played one game before but that was mark1 and a long time ago.  I have my own models (just a battlebox) and can travel to either store.

thanks
-Tim

I'll play. I play hordes but same rules except for focus and fury. I don't think I can make it to either store til next week.

Thursday I will be running around, but plan on being in Abington that nite after dinner. I'm new too and Matt, Ian, and Rick have done a good job explaining alot to me. I just need to get some games in.

at abington i can be down probablly next week. unfortunately thursday is the one night i cant do anything because of a night class... bt if tuesdays and wednesdays are good then wednesday ill come down and give you a expirience-level appropriate game.

do you know how many points you are fielding? a starter box is 16 points, typical games are 35

Most of the vets show up on Thursdays to play. Feel free to bug any of us for a learning game. We're more than happy to help.

I am no vet but a recent add on to the WM player roster.

I'll be around Thursday playing Rick in 40k but will be up for a WM game or two as well.

Kinda of an odd night for me, but I was wondering if anyone will be in Abington tonight for a game of warmachine? After dinner? I don't have the full 35 pts ready yet, but I have the warcaster and 2 jacks for a basic duel rdy.
