WANTED: venerable dreadnought blade.

i need the blade close combat weapon from the venerable dreadnought kit, if anyone has it id be willing to pay anywhere from $1-10 for the piece since i need that or something else to put as a force weapon for my furioso librarian dreadnought. please post here or send a pm if you have one and what terms of exchange are.

Hi,

I don't have a Venerable CC blade, but I have a Chainsaw CCW for an Ironclad that I don't use.  It has a Heavy Flamer attached to it, and is painted Ultramarine Blue, with a bit of Boltgun Metal and Shining Gold.

If you think that would be suitable, let me know.

i think that would be good enough for the tournaments at bg as a force weapon right? stupid gw makes the furioso dreadnought kit, which is the same that can turn to a librarian for +50 pts and dont include the force weapon...

i figure that the furioso librarian is better than the death company dreadnought and a sanguinary priest since now i have blood lance, which has 4d6 range and hits every enemy in a straight line. but its only special rule is red thirst. the death cos gets fleet, none stay my wrath, and the red thirst rules active always. but the death co i figure has 0 ranged attacks which is my biggest fault at 1250 pts.

if you think i made the smart decision i will be in bg this wednesday to pick up the dreadnought ill leave whatever you wish for the bitz part. the paint is no concern, its more will someone yell at me that thats not a force weapon?

I don't play Blood Angels, so I can't say for certain whether you've made the right choice or not.  But as long as you can make use of the piece I'm willing to give you, you're welcome to it.

I won't be in town until Saturday, so how about we meet up sometime at the store to discuss the trade?  If this weekend isn't good for you, or if you're just comfortable with paying for it, I can leave it with Chase and Derek for you to pick up.  How's $6 in store credit sound to you?

actually after reading over my codex, its a much wiser choice to take the deth co. since blood talons get the cumulative "any unsaved wound it causes grants an additional attack" rule only if i have a pair, the librarian has 1 and blood lance aint so great if i rolled bad it wouldnt go much further than the death co.
