EvilDice40k is proud to announce its first ever event: Team Recon is a specially-themed doubles tournament to be held at the Hobby Bunker in Malden on Sunday, May 23 at 11am.
Team Recon is a unique Warhammer 40,000 tournament experience, drawing off of the rules for Kill Team missions found in Games Workshop's Battle Missions expansion. Teams of two will square off against one of several other Team Recon Kill Team pairings. In these battles, each model will act on his or her own, a unit of one. Your forces will take to the field and operate individually as per the Kill Team rules -- introducing an entire new layer of depth and fun to your gameplay experience as your favored converted models face off with the enemy and perform feats of unlikely heroism or defiance.
In Team Recon, players will be scored on the level of fun and fluff to be had on each war-torn tabletop that their forces will battle upon, as well as their kill teams' own killer instinct and will for victory. This is not a battle that will be won by the best painted army or by the most lethal generals; instead Team Recon seeks to reward the gameplay experience itself, and the players who give those classic, fun games of 40k that we all know and love.
