Razorback Bitz
« on: December 03, 2009, 11:50:36 AM »
I bought a Razorback set recently, and to my dismay, it didn't come with the Twin-linked Plasma Gun & Lascannon Sprues, or the Assault Cannon Sprues.

Does anyone know how I can get my hands on any of them?  Or will I have to modify them myself?

Thanks!
~Ben

i found it easy to make a twin-linked plasma gun and lascannon turret. it even swivels on the turret mount (2 plasma guns, 1 lascannon, 1 half dollar coin, and a normal-sized base glued upside down on the bottom) I can't get the image to load

Well, to get the assult cannons you need to order it from battlewagon bits off the land raider crusaider sprue. As for the lascannon I have yet to see one other then the original one that catches my eye. You could try E-baying for the original razorback turret that has the lascannon plasma gun combo.

Oh ok, so at least the sprues did actually exist at one point.  Thanks for the tip guys.

Follow up question on Razorbacks.  Can I use two as dedicated transports for a tactical squad broken into combat squads, or can I only take one and have one combat squad legging it while the other gets the ride?

Thanks!

I think I have an extra las/plas turret from the old days that is hanging around.  May need to dip it but im not using it so we could work something out if need be.

I think you can only take one razorback if its a combat squad. It would say under the unit entry how many transports you can dedicate to that unit.. I play chaos so I'm not sure about the rulings on combat squads... but I know the jist of it and I'm pretty sure I'm right...

You may only purchase one transport for the squad. The rules are fairly clear.

Thanks for help, guys.  That definitely clarifies what I'll be needing in the near future.  And Grimwulfe, I don't know who are you at the store, but I come once every month or so to MA to see friends and family.  My next planned visit is on the 19th - 20th.  Let me know if you'd like to meet up at the store that weekend.

Thanks again,
~Ben
