What was the first video game with an official storyline?
« on: November 11, 2012, 03:35:30 AM »
I am not talking about arcade or mini games like Pacman. I am talking about games where their is a plot or a storyline to the game. My guess would be the first Final Fantasy game. Does anyone else have any idea?

I don't know, but it pre-dates Final Fantasy.  Like Ultima or wizardry... Hell, there were D&D games on the Apple IIc...

Children yet, the tale to hear, Eager eye and willing ear, Lovingly shall nestle near.  In a Wonderland they lie, Dreaming as the days go by, Dreaming as the summers die: Ever drifting down the stream --Lingering in the golden gleam --Life, what is it but a dream?
