7th edition coming very soon now?

What Typhus write was a quote from someone who supposedly was told this in a GW corporate meeting.

1.  The promise of errata can only be a good thing, y'all know that the lack of rules clarity is the #1 that has driven me away from the game recently and led me to sell off half of my armies (though i still have a few .  So, here's hoping there was some effort put into this and it's not just all the existing year-old stuff plus stronghold combined with 6th edition book...
2.  If it's new errata, hopefully they will also make the errata available independently of the new book.  Otherwise, the old 6th edition rulebooks are kinda useless, since if you look up something in there, it could be something that was errata'd in 6.5 edition, and you won't know unless you have a copy of the errata somehow.

I've heard that a PDF might be available specifically geared toward people who own the expansions already, as a way of not having to re-buy the book.

But if I know GW, there will be some subtle changes hidden later.

If they offer a $50 mini hardcover book with just the rules, I'd still be interested despite owning all the expansions. I want all my words in one language house.

I don't think so, for the last 18 months GW has been doing a stellar job with releasing codex updates and book expansions, so it would seem natural to release a new edition to keep up with the current pace of new additions to the game.

Previous editions lasted for 4 years, but back then they were also only releasing 2 codices a year with a single expansion.
