I just got the Carcassonne and Forbidden Island apps. They were both OK, with Carcassonne being too hard, even on 'simple mode' and Forbidden Island leaning towards "bad" because:
1. No AI! Annoying!
2. Wouldn't it be cool, if say, we could go to a 3D replica of Temple of the Sun instead of just the tile.
I'll publish a fuller review of them another day, but until then...
Are there other apps like this that you get frustrated with? Or are there some good ones, too? Do you think apps add to the gaming experience, or are they just money-makers?
