Battle Foam trouble
« on: January 09, 2014, 05:04:53 PM »
I want to get some good battle foam bags for my armies sitting in shoe boxes or storage tubs. Im going to start with my space wolves. I e-mail battle foam since I have no idea what bag to get. what foam etc. I admit yes im going thunder wolf happy but im also actualy using Fenrisian wolves which people who go Thunder wolf happy never do. Of coarse I will have 3-4 Grey hunter Packs.

Heres the problem. I e-mail battle foam with what I got and that was a week and a half ago they have yet to respond to me. I want a good quality bag which they have but apprently they dont want to help me shop for one and make money.

Any one have any idea of what bag and load out I should be looking at?

No.

You need to be more specific. Lay out your army, count your models, put them into groups of 60mm, 40mm and 25mm. Put all the banners together and put all the bolter dudes together.

Inventory.

Then you will know which bag to get.

There custom tray creator is good as well.

There are some tray's that can be used for other races. I use the Chaos Space marine tray to hold my firewarriors and kroot, there guns fit snuggly but can hold more than the tray allocated for that specific model.

Not to ninja this thread, but does anyone have a recommendation for battlefoam to transport my dark eldar? They're so fragile and spiky...

I placed an order at the end of January have yet to see anything. I checked their web site and my order status says they are working on it. How long does it take to cut foam put in a box and mail it?

Order, two weeks, ships, arrives the 3rd week... usually.

The last order I placed showed up pretty quick despite sitting in Chelmsford for 3 days due to snow.

Next time let me order if for you, Mr. D!  ;)

Have you taken a look at KR cases?

http://www.krmulticase.com/

They do custom trays as well and have an "Autofill", just select your models and the system will generate the trays you should need.

What I like about the KR Cases is that the foam is softer and several trays fit in on of the KR cases and then several cases can fit into a KR Bag. So, you could have all of your armies in cases and then just own one bag and take which cases you need.
