Space Marine Brief Review
« on: September 10, 2013, 03:50:24 PM »
http://gamingwithahat.wordpress.com/2013/09/10/a-brief-codex-review-space-marines/

I know Bill Souza said he would right a huge in depth review on the codex but I felt like getting my thoughts out there.

I will be doing a post about Chapter Tactics that I am going to probably throw a lot of theory Crafting and Devil's Advocating with. It should kick up some dust on what people are thinking.
I ride in on my Bike with my Hat of awesome and say Nay this place should be on fire.

Assault centurions are fine, but yes, you do need to launch them out of an LR.  That's a thing, that stil works, though it has a fairly limited role.

The shooty centurions are better.  Don't worry about the lack of an invo, they have T5, that's much better 90% of the time.

I am not worried this is initial thoughts. I got a way to give the Centurions Grav Guns twin-linked and a 4+ invulnerable and with 2 Wounds they become rather durable and deadly.

I'm pretty sure I still have 2x Thunderfire Cannons, Steve.  One sold last night, however.
