I hovered around this table for a while. Believe me, if I thought it would last even a year without major damage I would seriously consider buying it (or one like it) for the store.
Alas, I suspect that within two months it would be covered with "soda can rings" and mashed up potato chip crumbs. The legs would probably be wobbling within four months from someone sitting on the edge of it.
$9,700 is a bit too steep of a price tag for such mistreatment
Perhaps if we knew a really good carpenter...
