There is no logic, as GW's rule and model policies are done on a case by case basis.. hence why we have been reduced to betting  ;D

Regardless of the reasons why you are failing to acknowledge Squats.

Also involved are the other armies locate din the Armageddon book.  These models do not have rules for armies anymore so they are redundent..

Can I use the model still?  On a occasion yes a squd of SW can have a wulfen!  Yay but that is 1 out of an entire army!

Where are the rules for LOD?  Can I use them as SM sure!

Sqauts whereare those rules?  Can they still be used as proxy IG sure!

Either way the result is the same they made the models redundent and therefor your logic is not sound.

As for betting lets not get stupid we are having a logical debate lets keep it as such.

Troy, I'm not trying to fight, but betting is useful as a measure of how "sure" you are.  I am very, very sure that Kroot and vespids will be in.

I do not feel that either 13th company nor LoD are qualitatively similar to the proposed situation of kroot and vespids just dropping out of the Tau codex.

And I DID acknowledge squats--look back a few pages.  They WOULD be a good example except for 2 things: 1) It was a really long time ago.  2) There was apparently a special copyright issue surounding squats--essentially they couldn't continue with squats.

Or how foolish someone is....

And im sorry you feel that way in regards to 13th and LOD

Also... lesser example... didn't GW used to sell a Cannoness with a jump pack metal model?  And you can't have that anymore with the new codex.

Ya, but again, the rule I'm applying is that you can use them as something else without too much trouble.  Special characters get dropped fairly frequently.  (usually only to be added back in the next codex)

Cypher oh Cypher where art thou.  Just wait until the codex drops then all questions will be answered the new questions about typos and sentence structure and meaning will pop up. Arguing over it won't change the end result since it has already been typed up and sent to the printing press. Just wait for the codex.

I hope the Kroot and Vespid are in the current codex.

I don't want the 40+ kroot and vespid models I own to be invalidated for even a short time.

I checked Wikipedia for the reason for the the squats demise. Basically, they say that is was because GW thought that the dwarves did not translate in the 40k universe very well. Granted its Wikipedia so like all these rumors take it with a grain of salt.

It's something I heard one Natfka, I guess from some interviewer with a developer.

Anyway, it was a really long time ago, and it was that one time.

Want me to list all the stuff I did 15 years ago that I'm smart enough not to do today?

Anyway, there are more and more Natfka rumours that Kroot and vespids are still in.

Looks like the price was wrong on crisis suits, gw site has them at 65 per 3 so a little cheaper than the used to be... of course broadsidaes are 50
