Ork Solution to every problem

Step 1 - Moar Boyz

If the problem is solved, go to step 3, if not go to step 2

Step 2 - Moar Lootas

Step 3 - Waaaaaaaaaaghhhhhh!!!!!!

Grey Knights are tough, but other armies are becoming tougher for us because the cost curve is getting bent down.  Heck when da boyz get a new dex, I am sure that I will need 3k of orcs just to make a 1.5k Army.

Shock Attack Guns are good for Paladins (with the right rolls).  Lots of Lootas and cheap tasty kannons protected by t7 grots.  I personally have given up on regular Nobz with PK's cause they just die.

It is a sucky expensive unit (worst in the dex), but Flashy Gitz (with the right rolls) could put a hurting on Paladins.  Another thing to try is a DeffBurna Wagon (deffrolla battlewagon with a mob of burnas and meks).  Lots of flame templates and the meks have plasma guns and can repair damage on the wagon.

And don't forget, Old Zogwort can turn Matt Ward...I mean Draigo into a newt...ummm...squig.

I dunno, kinda thought they made a lot FAQ upgrades to Flash Gits that made them pretty badass.  Expensive, yes, but awesome. 

Basically what you need is a way to project the force of larger amounts of pts on a smaller area, faster.  (like 12 models that average about 50 pts a wound).  Flash gits do give you a way to do that.  (there are others, as pointed out)

They only have 4+ armor though, right?  Psycannons will blow through them.  You need Ghaz, or another mega armored baddie to tank for them.

I actually hadn't played with them yet.  I actually just scratch built a mob, so I will give them a try at some point.  I still think they are really really expensive for what you get.

That is true, 4+ armor sux.  I don't think Ghaz is really that good in 6th...until the new dex rewrites his rules.  I use my Ghazzy as just a MegaArmoured warboss.  I still get a kick out of my MA Big Mek, just because it is cool to have a model with 2 PKs.

ZOMG, he is SO much better in 6th than he was in 5th.  He has 2+ armor and AP2, and both those things are way more important in 6th (cuz of each other, obviously).  THe eternal warrior seals the deal.

For exp, in 5th, against a similar badass like Draigo, he'd win his Waaagh round, and then slowly lose.  Today, he definitely wins.  (still slowly, cuz of 3++)

We were playing the relic. My plan was to kareen the trukks into his big squad to tie him in close combat long enoough to grab the relic and or get one of my big squads into close combat. I knew one of the big squads of slugga boyz wasn't going to make it, I just figured it would take longer than one round of shooting. There was a nice ruin I was in process of moving my shoota boyz into to provide some cover fire but unfortunately it was rendered useless thanks to the whole ignores cover shenanigans. I brought the deffkoptas just to harass any vehicles he might of had.

It probably would have been better if I didn't keep the trukk with ard boyz in reserve and instead just moved them out front along with the other trukk to block line of sight. But really the list isn't very good for taking on grey knights it's probably more suited for taking on regular space marines. I would have been better off taking a shok attack gun and zzap guns and not bothering with the ard boyz.
Should the miserable Grot crews survive for long they will soon become deafened and have to resort to a rudimentary system of sign language. This is rarely successful as there are only so many signs a Grot can carry around with him.

well with the new FAQ shooty orks will probably do much better against GKs as you can just outrange him with lootas and big shootas. BUt you need to run shootas and lootahs. The vast fire power 60-90 shoota boys can pump out when supported by 20-30 lootas will out volume most marine armies.

I got crushed by horde shooting at the CSM invitation. Lost an NDK and 20 strike knights (1kpoint lists) by turn 3 to just volume fire as he covered 4 times the board as me and I had to go to him.
