What is practical about bringing more than 1 set of defense lines?  More AA?

more AA, more cover to hide your units behind, they also make good models for people taking the defense lines from assets.

The defence lines dont take up a lot of room and yes AA, cover from shooting and assault.

as for ugly mine are the actual things right out of the box that i used to make the orbital lasers for last year, only they are primed and unpainted.

Its fine, you can still use it, i still got both of mine to paint thursday and friday. Or only one if im only allowed one

Too bad the defense line asset doesn't give you a free aa gun.  But it is 3+ cover instead of the 4+ cover if you buy the aegis as a fortification.

Honestly, I think the defense lines asset should be changed to be the same as in the 6th edition book, to avoid confusion.
