Anyone else notice that the servo skull tape measures are now listed on the GW website as new releases?  Will there be any coming in the shipments today for sale tomorrow?  I know last word on the dice packs and the tape measure was that they were delayed indefinitally.

EDIT:  And did the shipments come in?  Hmmm?  Hmmm?  Can't wait for tomorrow!

Well...

I've got good news and I've got bad news.

All standard items have arrived and they are available for sale on Saturday.
Standard items include:
40K 6th Edition Rulebooks
Munitorum Templates
Munitorum Tape Measures
40K Psychic Power Cards

The BAD news:

It looks like the Collector's Edition books and the Gamer's Edition Sets will NOT be arriving for the weekend. My FedEx delivery link says the following:

IMPORTANT!
Tropical Depression Debby remnants and Colorado wildfires are causing service delays in Florida, Georgia and Colorado.
Initiated Picked up In transit Delivered
Arrived at FedEx location
OLIVE BRANCH, MS
  Shipment Dates
Ship date    Jun 28, 2012
Estimated delivery    Jul 3, 2012

Obviously, this is going to disappoint a large number of people at both locations. GW is entirely at fault for this (I literally don't know what they were thinking). At this point, we'll do the best we can to accommodate people, but my hands are pretty tied. There's nothing I can do to make the special edition books arrive any sooner.

I'm so disappointed that our players who ordered the higher quality books will be forced to wait extra days for their items, and we apologize on behalf of Games Workshop for this top to bottom mess. At the very least, there will be plenty of books being opened and available for us to play and begin learning the rules.

If you have any questions, e-mail me at derek@battlegroundgames.com

One possible solution that we can try to do is that anyone who ordered a Gamers' Edition could take a 40K rulebook so they'll have it to read over the weekend and then we can just remove the rulebook from the Gamers' Edition when it actually comes in.

Obviously, there's no good solution for those who ordered a Collector's Edition book. :(

...GW has filled ALL of my preorder requests on the two special edition books!

If (and only if) you placed a preorder with me for a Collector's or Gamer's Edition book, you WILL be able to pick it up on Saturday.

If you placed a preorder for the normal rulebook or any of the other new products you'll be able to pick it on Saturday also, but that's not much of a surprise.

:)

You jinxed it!
