Quick responses, since I want to have lunch:

Challenges and overflow wounds: I've talked about this informally with a few people, but did not have time to sit down and read the full argument in detail until now. Please disregard any informal rulings based on incomplete information. Based on what I've seen and a few conversations with players I trust, here's my updated ruling: The challenger and challengee can only wound, and be wounded by, one another. No overflow wounds.

Gets Hot: If a model is firing a Gets Hot weapon and rolls to hit, resolve all shots from all weapons firing at that moment. If a model is firing a Gets Hot weapon that does not roll to hit (blast templates and such), resolve the Gets Hot rule before any hits are resolved.

"In the newest Blood Angel FAQ they mention how the Skies of Blood works considering 6th edition. The Grey Knight FAQ makes no mention of how to use it in 6th. The Grey Knight rule specifies that you use it if the vehicle moves Flat Out. Was this just an oversight on GW's end or do you think they mean to make a distinction between the two vehicles?" Oversight. Grey Knights can't suddenly Deep Strike in the shooting phase. Consider the wording of the two rules to be identical where they are identical in the codexes (so apart from the jump pack/personal teleporter deal).

"If a model has the Eternal Warrior special rule, it is thereby 'immune to the effects of Instant Death.'  Does this mean that FnP can be taken against ID wounds on a model that has Eternal Warrior?" Yes. Nurglings are badass.

"If a model with a Shadowfield fails its 2++ save, the rules for a Shadowfield state that 'if this save is ever failed, the Shadowfield is destroyed.'  However, under the rules for FnP, it states, at the end, that if the FnP save is made, 'the unsaved wound is discounted - TREAT IT AS HAVING BEEN SAVED.'  So, does this mean that the Shadowfield is still intact if you make your FnP save?" The model took two saves: a 2+ invulnerable save, and a Feel No Pain save. If the first save fails and the second succeeds, the wound has been saved by the second save, not the first. The invulnerable save failed, and the Shadowfield shuts down.

"Has the Necron doom scythe been discussed with its uber cannon firing with Sky Fire?" Yep!

"Can a Zooming Stormraven still deepstrike its contents?" Yep!

"Can Fortune be cast on Dark Eldar units?" This here is an example of me not knowing every sentence in every codex. I seem to recall ruling on whether a psychic power can be used on an allied unit. I don't recall remarking on the racial identity of Dark Eldar. There are two options:

1. "Eldar" refers specifically to Codex: Eldar as it is being used by this player, so Dark Eldar units would not be affected.

2. "Eldar" refers to the racial identity of the Eldar and Dark Eldar, meaning Fortune can be cast on Dark Eldar, but immediately ends if the opposing player has an Eldar or Dark Eldar army (since the effects of Fortune last "until the start of the next Eldar turn").

Given the choice and more complete information, I'm going with option 1.

"Does Zooming count as moving flat out?" Zooming happens in the Movement phase. Flat Out happens in the Shooting phase. Simon, stop trollin' mah rules thread.

Ruling one said that Eldar "refers specifically to Codex: Eldar as it is being used by this player". In most cases, then the name of the army appears in a codex, it refers to that codex and the player's army. So, no, it is not my intention to have Fortune end immediately when fighting Eldar. If you wish to argue that such an outcome should be the case, feel free! Might be amusing in a casual game (PSYKER THUMB WAR), but I'm not going to run tournaments that way.

"Sam, still not quite understanding what you're referring to. ('end when fighting eldar'?)" I am referring to my 2nd Eldar scenario, two replies above this one.

"Can a Dark Eldar Archon gain the benefit of Fortune by attaching to an allied Eldar unit?" There are two possible scenarios here. If a Farseer casts Fortune on an Eldar unit, and then the Archon joins them in the Movement phase, he will not gain the benefit of Fortune (page 39: "..if a character joins a unit after that unit has been the target of an ongoing effect, benefits and penalties from that effect are not shared."). If, on the other hand, he joins the unit, and then in a later phase Fortune is cast on that unit, he will gain the benefit (page 39: "While an Independent Character is part of a unit, he counts as part of the unit for all rules purposes, though he still follows the rules for characters.").

"A barrage weapon may not target a unit outside 36" during nightfight, irrespective of the fact that you do not need LOS, right?" Correct.

"The only question mark for me would be black sun filter with Tau, as i'm not sure how that is worded." Blacksun Filters grant the Night Vision special rule, which allows the unit to ignore the effects of Night Fighting. Matt got it.

"Can you use Feel No Pain on a Perils of the Warp result?" As written, yes.

"What is the cover save on top of a bastion?" Ambiguous. Decide with your opponent before the game begins.

"For a regular & heavy venom cannon there's a -1 applied to the vehicle damage table. Does the -1 also apply to the building damage table?" I've previously ruled that shooting at buildings is exactly like shooting at vehicles. All other modifiers to the vehicle damage table (from high AP weapons) are identical on the building damage table. With that in mind, I believe that the venom cannon is supposed to have a -1 to rolls on the building damage table. Since that's not strictly RAW, though, you should mention it to your opponent at the start of each game, and 4+ the issue if necessary.

"Can the Eldar Vibro cannon hit a flier?" Congratulations! You've found a line weapon that rolls to hit! When applying the vibro cannon shot against a flyer, treat the attack rolls as snap shots (ie, unless one of the cannons in the battery rolled a 6 to hit, the shot is treated as having missed the flyer). Apply results against non-flying units normally. Bizarre, yes, but I believe that's the only way to do it.

"A Broodlord has a BS of 0. Can he still use a nova psychic power? How about a beam psychic power?" A BS of zero just means that any shooting attacks that require a roll to hit cannot hit. Powers that hit automatically will function as normal.

"When shooting at a flyer your BS is considered 1. Does that mean a Broodlord's BS improves to 1 to shoot at a flier?" Nope! Nice try.

"Does a Tervigon with Gate of Infinity psychic power breed before teleporting, after teleporting or not at all?" Teleporting would happen at the beginning of the Movement phase, and based on the Deep Strike rules would count as movement. The Tervigon would therefore not be able to spawn before it has moved, and its rule does not allow it to spawn after it moves. Therefore, a Tervigon may not spawn termagants on a turn in which it uses Gate of Infinity.
