Grizzled Veteran returning to the hobby.
« on: February 27, 2012, 12:11:03 AM »
I started playing Warhammer back when I was in 5th grade and was hooked on the hobby all through highschool. I quit for a few years and now I'm itching to get back into action. I have decided on space wolves pretty solidly and I'm pumped to get some stuff and sit down and get to work. I go to school in Bridgewater and because of this I'm kind of in between both stores. Which stores have a more active community? I have been browsing the forums and it seems to differ  based on a day to day basis for which store I should look into. Let me know where I should go to meet some people. Names Erik hope to make some new friends soon.

Hello Ed here I've gotten out of 40k a few months ago, but i am more then happy to help.
I go to both stores, So I seen both first hand they are both great. Abington has two decent days Thur and Sat. Plainville has a great Thursday groups semi spear headed by Ben. The only problem I have with Plainville is there a lot of events on the weekend so the weekend groups are very static. If I were you I would just try one of the stores and hang out. People will be more then willing to talk 40k with you.

Both stores have an active 40k community with some overlap, and Thursday is a great day for 40k. Why not check out both stores?  :)

Oh, I'll definently be going to both! Just wondering what days are better for which store. :P Seems like Thursday, Saturday, Sunday is pretty good. Can't wait.
