i need to make my plague tower (possibly 2) before the megabattle.... if anyone knows where i can get at least one seige tower to convert without going to ebay (cuz i dont have internet access most of the time) itll be greatly appreciated

There was a GW plastic "wood" one too.  I'll try to find it and post the link.

There is also some info on the GW site about scratch building a siege tower quickly and cheaply.  Add some wheels, guns and armor and you have a plague tower.  I'll post the article when I can find it.
