Fantastic Contraption
« on: August 10, 2008, 02:58:00 AM »
This is a great flash game Chase mentioned and I fell in love with.  Anyone can play, for free, at www.fantasticcontraption.com.

I made an unnecessary contraption for the first mission, which is rather easy of course, and thought I'd share.

I really love this game. I think I'm going to have to buy the full version so that I can continue playing.

My personal favorite contraption I did was this one:

The best thing about it is how long it takes to complete and how many times it almost fails (the last near-failure is the best!). It takes a few minutes to sit through it, but the final "near death" is worth the wait, I think.

That is almost painful to watch.  I was talking about this very level tonight with Chase.  I love how, after you win, your machine goes for an epic fail when a ball gets lodged underneath and then like the little engine that could you triumph.

I bought the full version a week or two ago. It was totally worth it.

This game has taught me that any challenge can be overcome with enough kinetic force moving in the same direction.

This is the favourite one I've made so far.  I call it... retarded pac-man.

Hahaha! That is no doubt the ugliest/most beautiful machine I have ever seen.

Bahaha, I didn't make this one, but I laughed so hard when I saw it.  Just watch, you'll get it after a 20 seconds or so.
