PAX/Battlegrounds Booth
« on: March 16, 2011, 01:36:03 PM »
I didn't take pics, but I am sure someone did...

There were 2 booths that stood out in the vendor area as well put together, organized, and professional looking. I was glad to see Battlegrounds was one of them :)  Derek and Chase did an amazing job and any time we walked by the booth was mobbed.

Me: Mending isn't healing, if Todd's shirt rips I can "mend" it.
Kurt: That's just a racial ability you have.

I thought the booth was really well done. It also looked like you guys were really busy the times we wandered past. My favorite time was one of the nights, we were talking with Chase, and then a bunch of people were lining to buy stuff, we noticed one guy grabbed the Orcus figure and was going to buy it. His girlfriend was with him, and she did NOT look pleased at all with it. They started bickering back and forth to each other. We actually hung around the booth just waiting to see if he would actually buy it or not.

After they went back and forth a few time, he got a pair and bought it. As they walked away, she had her arms folded, and her brow furrowed. She was definitely not happy at all. We were going to try and joke about it, but the booth was just mobbed with people lined up by the register, that we ended up just heading off to our other events.

I enjoyed the show. They definitely solved the biggest problem they had last year, which was space. I can only see it getting better as they continue on.
