40k Doubles Results - 1/8/2011

Thank you to all who came out to play and helped make this the largest event in Battleground history!

A special thanks goes out to the handful of people that helped me check lists, build tables, and coordinate the event.


Awards:

Best Generals - Hans Cote + Keith Bonneau playing Dark Eldar + Tyranids  ($350.00 Store Credit)
Second Best Generals - Jeff Hobin + Troy Esposito playing Space Wolves + Space Wolves  ($240.00 Store Credit)
Third Best Generals - Alan Phillips + Sean Phillips playing Imperial Guard + Dark Eldar (note that Sean is 10 years old)  ($160.00 Store Credit)

Best Theme / Sportmen / Army Comp - Allan Knowles + Mike Knowles playing Dark Eldar + Necrons.  ($80.00 Store Credit)

Best Painted - Seb Jones playing Blood Angels.  ($50.00 Store Credit)

Thanks to the Battleground crew for putting on such a great event. I think I speak for everyone when I say it was a blast.

Was a great event.  Im a little dissapointed I didnt get to put Ragnar in his place.  But looks like my man Seb did that for me.  :)  And here I thought he was unbeatable...
