New download review! This was downloaded in 6 files, an interview, then the 5 parts of the tutorial.

Yet another French man who loves to paint! What does he love to paint? Space Marines. Doh! (he also paints a human figure)

The zenital lighting style is a way to give your miniature a global highlight resulting in a nicely done, faster tabletop ready mini. This tutorial explores multiple ways to do this using both an airbrush and spray primer in black and white.

The pros of this tutorial are that the minis are painted from start to finish showing all highlights, shadows and detailing.
The cons are watching someone paint a mini in real time makes us sleepy. (Todd watched parts 1& 2 w/me).

He paints one entire space marine using an airbrush to start then switching to a brush for further detail. He has much experience and makes this look super smooth and easy! Oh- and fast. It takes him an hour to do an awesome tabletop ready mini. He finished the mini with a matte varnish which added a really nice metal armor shine to the figure without it looking over shiny and glossy.

For the normal gamer who doesn’t have an airbrush: he primed his mini with black as usual, then used bone white primer to put where the highlights would go then did the rest with brushes. This is shown in detail step by step. He gets almost as nice a look as the airbrush. It is also done on a space marine as well as a human figure.

I found this style really interesting and am planning on trying it out when I am done with my current mini. I find it is difficult to figure out where my shadows should go especially when you are constantly moving your mini around when painting and the light changes all the time. I am really glad I purchased this one since I find the concept of the idea on the global light source really neat since it makes it look like the light source is above your army which it will be unless you play at home and mount all lights on the floor.
Me: Mending isn't healing, if Todd's shirt rips I can "mend" it.
Kurt: That's just a racial ability you have.
