im just starting too so take this with several grains of salt:

Just a few minor things, more of "heads up"s.  I liked all jack/beast lists but theyre not very good if you like to win, i would add at least one more small squad in maybe archers or swordsmen. As your list was similar to mine, and that was what i got for critique.  Thagrosh also isnt really a "beast caster", i thought so but hes more of a glass cannon assasination caster.  Also, im pretty sure a spawning vessel can make lesser warbeasts and i think it was around the cost of a few shredders. so you might give that a whirl.

best thing to do is ask ian or matt on thursdays, or riley, since he plays the all beast "zurg" army. you can always proxy it against me since im learning too so it would give you a long enough game for you to try stuff out and figure what works. alot of the game is of course playing over and over tinkering until you get something you like.

best of luck though  ;D

Warmongers are not beasts.  They are a sqaud,  But any feedback is good.

Hordes is not my strong point and of the factions, I know possibly the least about Everblight. However, I do know that Riley disliked the Teraph. Here are some thoughts on the army based on the little I know.

Warmongers are great with Thagrosh. I'd really recommend  the Warmonger War Chief solo. he makes the unit amazing.

The Forsaken is a versatile solo that you may want to look at.

Seraphs are pretty awesome.

All that being said, its a solid start outside of the Teraph, who plays a lot more defensively than Thagrosh likes. The only changes I'd recommend would be either switching the Teraph for a Seraph or for the War Chief and a Deathstalker since you have no real way to hunt down an annoying solo right now.

How does this look.

Thagrosh, Prophet of Everblight 5
Shredder 2
Shredder 2
Carnivean 11
Typhon 12
Blighted Ogrun Warmongers (Leader and 4) 8 5
Warmonger War Chief 3
The Forsaken 2
Points: 35/35

I think it has a little more versatility and you were right the Forsaken looks like it could be very useful.

Or I was thinking maybe something like this.
Thagrosh, Prophet of Everblight
Shredder
Scythean
Typhon
Blighted Ogrun Warmongers (Leader and 4 Grunts)
Blighted Nyss Sorceress and Hellion
The Forsaken
Warmonger War Chief

Would the carnivean and the shredder you think make up for the Scythean, shredder and Hellion Sorceress?

the scythean is a major down grade from a carnivean but otherwise the list on the bottom looks pretty strong. best way is to proxy them and get a few games this thursday.

the scythean, keep in mind, must hit with both attacks to get its extra one and is only a bigger threat than a carnivean if you were playing trollbloods who have alot of models with tough. that being said rick is consistently there to play so it may not be such a bad idea.

I am not a fan of the sorceress. I think your first list with the forsaken is the best.
