models in this model's battlegroup currently in it's control area gain +2 speed and pathfinder for one turn.

this means everything but the avatar gets a speed boost, and the avatar doesnt need to chase you, he makes you come to him 

now we'll see who outflanks who, this time i wont leave a gap for the butcher to rape reznik (because reznik goes into the vault of shame)

by the way ian, we FINALLY  got a mechanik for menoth, sure you dont want to come back to the creator's grace?

I thought battle group was the whole "army" except avatar whos special. oh well... still pretty cool caster. No army has made it through all 10 bastions yet, and I welcome anyone to try it, your death will be swift

so? ok ill rephrase that: "YOU finally get a mechanik, and i get one to start my protectorate and therefore you should reconsider selling them off." 

 also, i wouldnt knock bastions, they more than live up to their namesake. theyve been the reason for pretty much all my wins thusfar. weapon master + reach =

I'll knock Bastions all day long. Yeah, they hit hard. However, they have speed 4 and I don't need to fight them to win the game. Now if you had Idrian Skirmishers...

Hahaha, this easily will make Legion the most over-represented and under performing faction in the area.

Carniveans = easy kills. Someone play something challenging!

It is sort of strange to me how certain armies seem to have mass appeal around here.

I don't think I've ever seen a Skorne army used.  It's been a long time since I've seen Cygnar.  Menoth seems to come and go.  Trollbloods I've seen a little bit of, but only recently.

I think I really like Warmachine and Hordes.  I'm very glad it's coming around again.

i play protectorate, ian used to. jay and rick play trolls. i think legion gets attention because many see the regulars like riley playing them and winning, plus theyre cool.

i still think bastions are cool, albeit slow and i need to work them better, but i still like them; same as i did death company... ah death company... so many games i couldve won if it werent for those shiny drop pods

skirmishers are for sissies

Two experienced players pointing out that they are very good and I make 3.
Sure, for sissies, and those who recognize strong strategic units and utilize them.
You keep asking for advice and then rejecting all the good advice you get.
Either play whatever you want, accept the consequences and stop asking. Or consider that maybe some of this advice is good and try it out.
