The Moon table will have several fancy terrain related features:
Fortress of Redemption - While the Fortress is intact it will allow the controlling player (team) to fire an Orbital Bombardment (as per the asset) down on the planet surface.
It will have armor 14 all around and have 4 structure points. When it is destroyed the model will remain on the table, in ruins. It will lose it's ability to fire the Orbital Bombardment. It will still grant cover and block line of sight and models can still stand on it to gain whatever benefits they might.
To control the Fortress a team will have to have more models (bases) ON the Fortress than the opposing team. We will ask teams to count this up when appropriate.
Bastions - While the Bastions are intact they will influence the power of the Orbital Bombardment fired down by the player that controls the Fortress. For each Bastion the player controlling the Fortress controls they will get 1 addition die to roll while placing the Orbital Bombardment. If memory serves.... controlling 1 Bastion will make the Orbital Bombardment go from a Barrage 4 to a Barrage 5 "weapon" etc.
The Bastions will act a bunker (capacity = 10) with armor 14 all around and 2 structure points. Also, while occupied the controlling player may have the Bastion fire it's Heavy Bolters as per the rules governing Bastions in the Planet Strike book. You may not fire the "Las Cannon" on top of it. When it is destroyed the model will remain on the table, in ruins, weaponry destroyed. It will still grant cover and block line of sight and models can still stand on it to gain whatever benefits they might.
