Not being on top of it, but UNDERNEATH it.
Not owning either a pad or a titan, I can't check but...
is it possible that the revenant is SO tall that he can't see underneath it?
Meaning, he wouldn't be able to draw LOS to something sufficiently buried in there, meaning, he could neither shoot nor charge them. But they could still shoot his feet.

It's a vehicle (though, why, when wraithknights exist and are MCs?) so you draw LOS from the gun, not the head. Still might be true though.
-
The Revenant can then hop up onto your pad to be completely safe and get a 4+ invul :)
-
Well, revenants already have a 4+ invul right?
-
They have a save vs hits, you'd be letting then get a save vs glances or pens for free.
-
Ah, that's true, isn't it.
Still though.... maybe put the pad over an objective, camp a scoring unit under there... now you're at least safe from the scary half of their army... ? A revenant, being a vehicle, can't contest, right?

It costs 900 points, it doesn't want to be shooting at one smallish scoring thing in your army anyways. It's priorities are 1) kill things that can kill it 2) get first blood and warlord 3) kill anything your other 900 points can't kill.
The other 900 points can poke whatever is under the pad.

GIVE D A CHANCE!!
That's the spirit! It's an armor 12 vehicle with 9 hullpoints, nothing 10 sternguard with combi melta can't pod next to and kill top of 1
