Title: Megabattle Clarification
Post by: Warpedfuzz on April 12, 2011, 03:59:09 PM
According to the Apoc. book (picking army section) it states that force organization doesn't matter. Easy enough to understand, but Also it states that they want you to just use whatever model you wish, as long as it goes by the ally chart in back of book. So is it a Battleground ruling that we should stick w/  one codex to keep it easier to understand what we're fielding? Or Could I say use GK termies w/ my Dark Angels cause it's in the apoc. book?

there was never an offical ruling to say that you should stick to "one army", but for simplicity's sake it was an unspoken rule. It also depends on what you plan to mix and match.  Many players, as it has been stated hundreds of times, take a baneblade when they themselves are not playing an imperial guard army.

I want to use my chaos marines with 2 monoliths, a supermonolith, and thunderwolves; oh, might as well have a stormraven or two for my carnifexes and wraithguard.  This is all legal right?  Nothing wrong with it   ::)

In the allies matrix you can not mix any "evil" armies with good.  Case in point a (blood angels, Grey nights) stormraven carrying Choas, Nids, or Necrons.

I will have to repeat it, Day one Stuff boys.  Now I'm even more disappointed in gingers than I am of Dave's Trolling....  >:(

So by your logic and my post, using the distributive property... space wolves are bad guys?  ;)

Sigh... I am just adding to the bridge you live under am I not?

Chaos + Necrons= Spikey shiny metal luvin'  no puppies allowed.
Stormraven checked the passports and the carnifexes mentioned they luvin mohamed, the born again christian wraithguards cried and the carnifexes got stopped for a "random search" and couldnt get into the ship.

You can mix just not those things.  I think I've become the billy goat in this Trolling fiasco.

As always:

• We discourage players fielding models from multiple codices.

I've been doing Sisters and IG via the Witch Hunters rules which explicitly allows use of IG... Please let me know if that's deemed to be uncool (which I can see a case for since there are limits in that section that I don't respect since there's no FOC).
