  "A hivequake shook parts of the lower levels of Hive City in the domains of House Orlock.  Many were injured and killed as the domes they inhabited collapsed, causing much damage to many ore smelting facilities.  Rescue crews have been dispatched to search for survivors."  End Transmission.

  "I guess the package worked well!", said one of the two men dressed in Nobles clothing.  "Ah, yes, maybe a bit too well.", said the other.  "Maybe we should send a team to see if the threat is dealt with and to search for survivors?"  "No, not yet.  Lets wait a cycle and then send a team.  We don't want any suspicion cast our way.  Also, the dead have no need for credits."  At that, both men start laughing.

  4 weeks till Zombie Crawl!!!  If you have a favorite 25mm model, you are more than welcome to use it.  I will have a few models for players to use (Orlock Gangers) just in case.

  "We found two survivors, my Lord, but they are too far gone for any useful information.  They kept rambling on about giants and bunnies!  What shall we do with them?", asked the agent.
  "Did they say anything about the outpost?", asked the Noble.
  "No, my Lord, but I have a team doing a thorough search of the area and will have better information in a few days.", said the agent.
  "Very well then.  I expect a full report from you.  I must know what happened to that outpost and its stockpile.  Oh, and take care of those two; we don't need any "loose ends".", said the Noble with a sinister smirk.

    3 more weeks till Zombie Crawl.  Do you have what it takes to survive?  Last year there were only two players that did.....sort of!  Will Cookie seek revenge on Cary?  Will players start fighting each other?  What is that large green thing?  ???  All this and more will be answered on the 27th.  Make it if you dare!!  :o  Haa-haa-haa-haaaaaaa!!!!

  "My Lord, the outpost was raided by a Scavvy gang known as the 'Black Hand'.  There were no survivors and the stockpile of the outpost is in their possession.", said the agent to the Noble.
  With a furious look on his face, the Noble slams his fist on his desk.  The Noble quickly composes himself and with a calm and steady voice he replies, "Right, go through the usual channels and assemble a team to reclaim MY property.  Offer our standard wage.  I DON'T want any prisoners!!"  With another calming breath the Noble adds, "And I want their leader's head!!"
  "As you wish, My Lord.", says the agent, turns and quickly leaves the office.

                  Zombie Crawl V  Wednesday October 27, 2010 6:30 P.M. Plainville

Welcome to Zombie Crawl 5, Deamons in the Darkness Part 3.  The story continues...

  Once the Guilders got the news of the attack and pillaging of their outpost by the "Black Hand", they quickly hired another gang to retrieve their property and to eliminate the gang.

Characteristics

M - Move.  How far a model can move in inches in a turn.
WS - Weapon Skill.  How good a model is in hand-to-hand fighting.
BS - Ballistic Skill.  How good of a shot a model is with a ranged weapon.
S - Strength.  How strong a model is.
T - Toughness.  How easily a model can withstand a hit from a weapon.
W - Wounds.  How many times a model can take a wound.
I - Initiative.  Represents a model's alertness and reaction speed.
A - Attacks.  The number of attack dice rolled in hand-to-hand fighting.
Ld - Leadership.  Represents raw courage and self control.

Everyone starts with one character with the following profile:

   M  WS  BS  S  T  W  I  A  Ld
   4    3    3   3  3   1  3  1   7

You have 5 points to adjust your profile and/or buy skills.  Each skill costs one point.

The maximum increase to your character's profile is:

Skills

Specialist - Allows a model to be armed with a special weapon
Heavy - Allows a model to be armed with a heavy weapon
Hip Shooting - Models can run and shoot with a -1 to hit modifier.  CANNOT be used with a heavy weapon.
Bulging Biceps - Models armed with a heavy weapon can move and shoot with a -1 to hit modifier.
Gunfighter - Models armed with only pistols and hand-to-hand weapons can shoot two pistols in the shooting phase.
Crack Shot - Models can re-roll the Injury dice roll.
Tech - Models can try to repair old equipment and weapons found during the game.

Knife, Chain, Sword

Pistols
Autopistol, Bolt Pistol, Laspistol, Stub Gun

Basic Weapons
Autogun, Boltgun, Lasgun, Shotgun (with Solid and Scatter shells)

Special Weapons
Flamer

Heavy Weapons
Heavy Stubber, Heavy Bolter


  I am planning on a 6:30 - 7:00 start time, but can have players join in easily during the game.  If a player has his/her character killed early into the game, they can be "respawned" back if the player wants.  There will be a "point of no return" where if your character is killed, you are out for the rest of the game.
